We welcome you to the Houston Civil War Round Table website. Our organization's mission is to promote impartial inquiry, study, and education about the period of the American Civil War and its causes and aftermath.

We hold monthly meetings on the third Thursday of each month, from September through May at The Katy Freeway Saltgrass Steakhouse to hear well-known experts on the war speak and answer questions. Our meetings include voluntary quizzes with a trophy to the winner. We also hold a monthly book raffle. The Saltgrass Steakhouse is located at 8943 Katy Freeway.
